a world of a woman’s vision
the right and the left of mathematical neurons

friendships and attitudes
foes and fellowships

I was born in Raipur (Madhya Pradesh, now in Chattisgarh) on the 5th of November 1959 at 23:35:00 hrs. Our native village is Kakra, PO-Bhawanigarh, District-Sangrur. Since 1969 we were at Patiala from where I completed my school, college and university education. Early childhood was spent in Ludhiana, Bhatinda, Dhamtari, Raipur due to my father’s postings at these places. I started my career as a Lecturer (Department of Mathematics), Punjabi University, Patiala. Went to University of York as a  Commonwealth Scholar in 1994 and completed my D. Phil (Mathematics) in 1997.

Got married to Arvind Passey in 1985. Our son Pushkin completed his schooling in 2003 from Springdales School, Pusa Road, Delhi. He went on to complete his B.
