Education is the music of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife. This music also fills the infinite between two souls. It is the rhythm and the notes of passionate education that award us with the music of success. So the connection between music and achievement is not to be underestimated. It is not merely two lovers getting physical that calls for the clash of cymbals, every time a student understands a complex thought, the skies are metaphorically filled with the music of joy. Do you remember those times when you heard just the right song at just the right moment? Like ‘Dil se re…..’, or ‘Masti ki pathshala’ you started singing out loud and dancing with reckless abandon or just the arms flew open to grab the world with love and you remained mesmerized in the beauty around you or simply sang along. A similar thing happens when a mathematical problem is solved or when words are arranged in a way that resembles a poem!

In those moments, you felt fully alive, full of energy and truly happy. It was all because you heard a few chords strung together in the right sequence, with the right mix of words and feelings. Music can do that to you. Music can uplift your mood, put a smile back on your face; Music can make you sing out to your hearts content. As a corollary, each time the heart is content, music flows through the interstitial spaces of the mind. It’s a different music though… one where the heard melody reverberates only within an individual. Others can sense it though.

Music can make you say the unsaid, express the deepest emotions when you were driving to meet your friend, or when you just heard about your promotion you were eagerly waiting for, or when you were sad and missing someone or even may be when you were not able to sleep even after a long tiring day. Even Aldous Huxley says: ’After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music’. Similarly, when something inexpressible gets done, music fills the moments.

The ultimate language of music is related to a world of beauty and harmony, of structure and order, of which a human being or any individual is deprived of because of the lifestyle he has started living. Music expresses man’s deepest emotions. It can serve him in health and illness, in happiness and in sorrow. What we learn here is that wherever there is structure and order, the music emerging from such operational competence has tones and chords that cause harmony between man and his existence.

Isn’t it alarming for you being on sedative pills due to office stress or tension. Get serious about listening to music that inspires you. Build a collection of your favorite pieces and play something that fills your heart with joy every single day of the week. While driving or commuting, the best way to relax is to hear some of your old time favorites that fill your heart with joy every single day of the week. Every man’s work, whether it be literature or music or pictures or anything else, is always a portrait of himself, and the more he tries to conceal himself the more clearly will his character appear in spite of him. If the work is not a true reflection of his nurtured talents, the resultant is going to be rather stressful.

Music is a synonym for involvement. Music is another word for the ‘educated mind’. Listening to even a few minutes of the music of involvement is a simple yet an exceptionally powerful way to manage your moods and remain at your best. It is just as well best to remember that life is like music; it must be composed by ear, feeling, and instinct, not by rule.
