My answer:
A boss can be competent/ incompetent, angry/ calm, decisive/ indecisive, straightforward/ slimy & shifty, reasonable/ bull-dozer… or can be a combo of traits from either side of the slash (/). Thus a competent boss can also be slimy & shifty and at times be indecisive too… so like any other person, a boss too would be good as well as bad at different times.
The word BOSS though is rather inapt and inappropriate. One is always a colleague…. and can be both good and bad. But a boss has no alternative but to be bossy! 🙂

One of the good answers I could get.. Moreover, it is the same person, that could be or in-fact is different for different sets of individuals. The personal opinion matters in each case. The same person could be good for one and bad for another. And so can be with the BOSS. The same BOSS can be good for one employee and bad for another.
