A rhyme cannot be wrote if mind
Wavers elsewhere and fails to find
Right words, right thoughts, also right urge
And if it does, itβll sound like grind
A grind of mostly useless splurge
So poetry comes when right things merge!
As rhyme and mind will meet to mate
So love and marriage have same fate
Which will be first will matter not
The right ones merge with outcome great!
No rule, no law is there to spot
No answers to how, when and what!
You meet to love and marry then
Or marry and find love therein
Semantics will not matter ever
They all have same genetic grain!
Right words, right thoughts are really clever
And with right urge, will part? No, never!

Thanks a lot, Kriti. A poet needs nothing more than a pat… to be spurred on to pen more. π

Pramod ji, as I wrote: ‘So poetry comes when right things merge!’.. probably I just get lucky with ideas and words. Thanks for encouraging me. π

You’ve just put a very similar but complicated mess of thoughts in my mind into a simple, crisp and beautiful poem. It’s like reading a brilliant post saying exactly what I believe brilliantly.
Keep going π
