Yes, we can gift happiness by a mere smile
Because a smile travels mile after mile
Never getting tired or bored or losing interest
A smile is indeed a gift that is best!
But sometimes we need to go beyond
And look at what creates a real bond
And we’ll discover that fulfilled wishes
Are really the most delicious dishes!
So a few books to read, toys to play
Someone to talk to during night or day
These things when given in a large pile
Can be as good as a heartfelt smile!
