An image in the mind lives
Connects and converses
Just as well as I do with myself.
Like verses
Images compare syllables and rhymes
Hide a nuance somewhere
To sometimes forget and then their search
Creates a colossal scare!
No wonder then when I saw him stand there
Staring at an image of a man clicking a photograph
The photographer moved and he stood still
And all I had with me was a choked laugh!
I knew then that images that moved, lived
And the ones that didn’t, stayed life-like but lifeless.
Now I prefer images in my mind to falter and fall
Than stay still and induce a scary stress!
You, you, and you all are images in my mind
And need to move all the time
Or just fall and keep getting up
Like an alternate line rhyme!

The image on the wall and the image that moves...

The image on the wall and the image that moves…
