Fitness isn’t about brute strength but all about a new attitude that the Indian millennials are forever thinking about. #LeanIsTheNewMean isn’t just another hash-tag that dominates the social media space around us but is pursued with a lot of involvement and creative interpretations. Only the other day I was reading about Beer Yoga and, believe me, I was completely baffled. I muttered, ‘If I don’t understand the language and the inclinations of the youth today, can I ever be fit?’
Specky, my wife smiled and replied, ‘Fitness isn’t about one little muscle pulsating with excitement but is something really comprehensive.’
‘Comprehensive?’ I asked, ‘How do you define that?’
‘Only the other day you were telling me about that new device called the C7Pro,’ she said, ‘and how that device from Samsung defines fitness. Why can’t you pick up clues from there?’
This made me think. And I searched and what I found was that the word ‘fitness’ isn’t easy to define because it is tagged by a bagful of words that are closely associated with it. ‘Aha! I have the first fitness mantra,’ I shouted, ‘Your spouse or girlfriend must be able to grip you comfortably. So abdomen tyres are definitely out.’
‘You’re definitely getting there,’ smiled Specky. Well, a smile works wonders and I went through the specifications of this smartphone and realized that it is crafted with a full metal unibody and a 2.5D Gorilla Glass that makes it durable. The 5.7” (which is just 14.43 cm compared to my 44 inch girth) FHD Super AMOLED display gives an immersive and enriching viewing experience. Thus fitness is all about your lean frame and a youthful shine on your face! By the way, the C7Pro has an enviable body-to-screen ratio of 73.96%… and I thought about it, ‘Can I ever have this kind of a ratio?’
I then surveyed the performance parameters of the phone and realized that the 2.2 GHz octa-core processor and 4GB RAM, in the words of a fitness trainer, would be competence, proficiency, and ability rolled into one. After all, it is only because of these features that the C7Pro handles multiple tasks with ease, with speed, and without hiccups. ‘What about the battery?’ asked Specky.
