Lines do what they do best –
Grow to a size allotted and then wait
For others like them to join in and rejoice.
Desperate lines get erased,
Restless ones wander recklessly
Creating design by accident.
Lines can be carefree and careless
Like amateurs and only a few
Make an impact.
Lines wish they could be shorter,
Or longer, or thicker, or bolder,
Or just fade away gently.
All sorts of lines live
Watching humans for inspiration.
