Storing stuff is both good as well as bad. If you’re the sort who has Indian currency of 1000 and 500 rupee notes, you’re obviously in for a lot of stress and there is still no technology currently available that will help you do it in ways to enable you to retrieve them in a usable format. We are living in times when storing safely has acquired a new definition and even portable storage isn’t going to label you as an economic offender. I remember meeting friends who told me that they had a million things to store and at least some were in a digital format. ‘Some are secrets that I do not wish to display publicly,’ he said, ‘but the common fact is that all this digitized stuff is vital and I cannot afford to lose any.’

To tell you the truth I have used one of these portable hard drives and am not suffering from any sleepless nights because this is one kind of storage that will never be affected by sudden announcements by the government. No unforeseen accidents and forgetfulness is ever going to leave me fuming and tense about losses any more.
