Who says a Chetan Bhagat novel doesn’t have poetry in it?

His tongue
Reached a point
Which was a little strange.
He was going to finally grow up.
But wait –
I didn’t want to think anymore.
His tongue thought,
High-fived a major milestone in life,
Gripped me tight.
An orgasm
Gasped for a few seconds
And then it finally arrives.
The show
Is not bad but not so great either.
Can a bit more
Make me
Seem like a slut? –
I moan out loud.
His orgasm feels like
An embarrassment.
Spent. And finished.

An experiment in poetry writing

An experiment in poetry writing

Note: Thought of experimenting on the 1st of April… and fooling prose into thinking it is made up of poetry. So I scanned a random page from a Chetan Bhagat novel… and deleted everything except a few words to be written in the sequence they existed in the novel. Dit they finally transform into a poem? Only you can tell. 🙂
