When the aim is to serve without wanting some favour in return, publicity needs to be avoided. This is rather difficult as even the ascetics and sanyasis today disguise their craving to be known by justifying it all as necessary evils for the propagation of their divine message! An organisation looking for profits isn’t even near a sanyasi. An ordinary mortal anywhere has still lesser incentive to pay heed to the doctrines of ‘selfless service’.

I feel it is good to want and accept the fruits for any work that you do… and better if you don’t go overboard in your demands! This way you wean yourself away from hypocrisy and may actually take one step towards moksha.

Therefore, just STOP talking about ‘selfless service’. It doesn’t exist.
