‘Ultra’ is not just any word… it is one word that has retained a fascination for me even after years of having first met it sometime in school. Over the years, the meaning too has slowly transformed from a mere scientific hint to a major social denominator.
The Urban dictionary describes it: ‘Immoderately beneficial or superior in any way to normal. Usually better than the best possible. Can apply to items or skills.’ Other dictionaries inform me that it is fine to use the word where you perceive ‘going beyond what is usual or ordinary’ or something or some moment desperately wants to be tagged as ‘on the far side of, or beyond’.
Specky was standing right beside me as I explored the various links to this word, and she said, ‘We should go for an after-dinner joy-ride. Your driving is so ultra!’
I immediately answered, ‘Your cooking is ultra,’ and after a very short pause, added, ‘And we have UltraMintz with us that have an ultra after-dinner effect!’
She smiled and opened a pack of Minto Ultramintz and offered a couple of pellets to me.
‘If my tongue had eyes, it would be seeing a celestial dance of ultra-violet hues all around,’ I said slowly, ‘These mint pellets deserve the word ultra.’ Specky had her eyes closed and said nothing. It was only later that she told me that the pellets had a rather sedate and soothing effect on her that was more like a meditative workshop.
It was then that I decided to do a bit of ultra-exploration, create some ultra graphics for this mint that was giving my such ‘awesome’ or ‘cool’ moments. I simply needed to do something that would affirm my Ultra state of mind!
Ultracool
The Urban dictionary defines the word as an adjective referring to something / someone being just unbelievably cool. ‘Indeed,’ I muttered, ‘the Ultramintz are cool from every angle. The way they come densely packed in a metal container and the way they play with the taste-buds!’
Ultrafunkula
‘Funkaliscious. Funktastic, but with a sprinkle of twinkle, a fizzle of dizzle,’ the Urban dictionary went on… and I nodded my head even as the twin pellets were busy fizzling and dizzling on my tongue!
Ultramate
There are moments when you want to shout out both ‘ultra’ and ‘ultimate’ to tell the world that what you are experiencing is not mere exhilaration but something way beyond it. That is when you combine the two words and say, ‘Ultramate’ or just pop a couple of Ultramintz pellets in your mouth.
Ultra allow it
When the past, present and the future want to converge and give you a great time, you cannot just allow it… you use a superior form of ‘allow it’. Once someone ultra allow’s something, it needs to be ‘allowed’ without questioning. This is what I do now after every great thought for blogging that comes in to be written about… pop in a couple of Ultramintz!
Ultra boost
This is a term that talks about moments that are ‘exceedingly cool, in terms of a person or an event.’ However, ultra boost does not allow lovers to go on and deface walls of monuments or scratch their names on tree trunks… this one is a fine eco-smart word that the Ultramintz are fully capable of infusing moments with.
Ultra-buzz
‘Yes, these pellets do create an ultra buzz,’ I said to myself, ‘but how do I transform the experience into a graphic?’ It is ‘a feeling beyond a normal buzz but not to the point of drunkeness or being high,’ and so it is almost like watching an Ultramintz hoarding on a railway platform with an excited buzz all around!
Ultradocious
‘WANTED!’ isn’t just an announcement to capture outlaws and rogues… any person, thing, place that is extremely desireable and cool deserves to be sought after. The ultramintz does have this word ‘ultradocious’ revolving around it!
Ultra Epic
Happiness and joyfulness transforms into an abstract form that is beyond definition… almost like epicness becoming beyond recognition. This is the sort of enigma that the Ultramintz experience is all about.
Ultralogic
This is a word that one uses when normal logic is too mainstream or is too logical or is not enough… which is almost like trying to solve the Rubik’s cube! The Minto Ultramintz effect is simply a logical suffix as well as prefix to a habit that the mind as well as the taste-buds will not want to let go!
Ultramegalol
Yes, the Ultramintz are surely the rarest lol ever! Like this wonderful new-age word, these pellets give birth to a light-hearted feeling that otherwise can only be caused by the funniest thing ever… and, therefore, they are an ultramegalol!
With every pellet of Minto Ultramintz in my mouth, I was actually experiencing some sort of an ultrafication too… I mean, I was truly able to make fun of some sentence or expression that have just been said by using a funny tone in my language. I wouldn’t be entirely wrong to call the overall feeling an ultragasm of taste and fun after the final tingle of these pellets is done with its pirouetting, twirling, whirling, and turning!
