The mind
Can never find
The truth because
Reflections
Tell a different truth

Like when a mind reflects
On a happening
It changes its nature

Like conversations
Reflecting life through words
Meander into mumbles

Like when I look into the past
It reflects conflicts as lessons
Praise as jokes
Wayward thoughts as steps
Leaving me confused and
Reluctant to reflect

Reflections are truths
In a world quite different from
The world we live in
And yet they happen in our world
For us
With us and
Within us.
