Well, we’ve all heard of banks being inside a smartphone… and the smartphone in the pocket. But listen, what if the battery of this smartphone goes kaput? You’ll be left sweating right in the middle of a transaction and even the water vendor on the roadside is going to smile at your plight. Let me just say that if you want to bank with your bank without going to a bank, then you need to bank on the bank that isn’t a conventional bank! Ha! Caught you here, haven’t I? Stop giving me those confused looks now… I’m not talking about banks that store your stacks of money but about banks that have the power to recharge your dead smartphone.
So there you are… we live in times when smartphone usage has gone up tremendously. This can only mean one thing – more power to make the smartphone last longer. You need more power to keep your smartphone going if you are on the move and need it as your trusted assistant. You need more power because you don’t have all the time in the world to wait until your smartphone is ready to be detached from the power adapter.
When I told a friend of mine to opt for a power bank, he simply looked at me and asked, ‘Why? Aren’t these smartphones and tabs and iPads coming with batteries with a higher mAh now?’
I looked at him for a while and answered, ‘Listen, you’re right. But then aren’t you Whatsapping the entire day now? Aren’t you hopping constantly from Facebook to Twitter and then to the other social media platforms all the time? Aren’t you trying to play games that are far more powerful than the simplistic Solitaire or Tetris of the past? Aren’t you browsing the net even as you are being driven from one place to another? Aren’t you…’ This was when my friend asked me to calm down and said, ‘But I’ve heard that smartphone innovations are making their batteries last longer.’
He was absolutely right. But then he admitted that despite OctaCore processors ensuring that battery consumption remains controlled, the smartphone usage had indeed gone up and a constant demand for power was becoming unquenchable. So he asked, ‘What do you think is the right action?’
The right action is to stop even considering buying a power bank… you now need to go out and buy one without any more dilly-dallying.
Because he sought my help, I sat with him and we explored a lot of online portals and after a while settled on the new one called Askme dot com which is a rather effective search engine where buyers can see products from multiple stores and buy their choice of product with great value offers from the store of their choice.
From this stage it was quite simple as it wasn’t difficult to find the power bank that we really needed and it was the MI Xiaomi Power Bank for efficient charging of smartphones. This one was banking on a Dual Battery Cell Technology, was Water and Corrosion Resistance, had a Capacity of 5200 mAH, and came with a World Class Chipset. Besides this, it had USB smart-control and Power source, claimed to be Stabilizing Discharge Voltage and had undergone a high intensity of testing by Mi Standard.
My friend was also looking at the other alternatives as well and asked, ‘Why shouldn’t I go for the one with 10400 mAh power?’
‘You can,’ I said, ‘but knowing your current needs, you wouldn’t need it. This power bank that we’ve selected comes with a massive discount as well. And if by spending as little as 600, you can stop being stressed because of powerless moments at crunch time, it is worth it.’
The basic point was that my friend was convinced that a power bank was a necessity… and also that searching for a product through AskMe was not only easy but could also mean a greater saving.
